Introduction:

I learned a lot of lessons in 2024. But after I did a lot of reflecting, the lessons in this article are the ones that stood out to me the most. I tried as much as possible to remove the lessons that are being taught everyday in the manosphere. Lessons that are common, lessons you are used to and are tired of. I hope one way or the other some of these new lessons which I assembled from my own personal experiences in 2024 will also contribute to your life and make 2025 the beginning of a more meaningful, more fulfilling and prosperous life. Let’s get into it:

1) The test of a man’s ambition.

The true test of a man’s ambition comes when he has achieved a little of the things he wants and his life is much, much, more comfortable than it used to be, most men who claim they are ambitious become complacent. And rightly so, because they don’t have to worry about the little things they once desired — they now have them in full. I, for one, know exactly how this feels because I almost fell into this trap of complacency if not because I took some measures to slap meself back to reality.

Here are some of the measures I took:

1. I started fasting twice every week. I picked two days from each week where I won’t eat for up to 10 hours or more. 

2. I started writing threads everyday regardless of how busy my day might be or how tired I’m. Mind you, I’m not a full time writer. I’m not earning enough to be. It’s simply a hobby.

3. Last but not least, I started this blog. This gave me the impetus to read and write daily.

There are other measures I took but these three are the main ones. They were necessary so I won’t be distracted and rendered complacent by the comfort around me. I know how dangerous comfort is to man. It doesn’t only make him weak. It also kills his ambitious self by creating an illusion of success. It kills his masculine ability to go for more in life. Or to put it in the words of Henry Cavill: “Comfort is a drug. It’s addictive. Give a weak man regular sex, good food and cheap entertainment and he will throw his ambitions right out of the window. The comfort zone is where dreams go to die”.

2) A lone wolf is destined to suffer. 

This is a lesson I learn every year, 2024 is not an exception. In this world, you need people. We all need people. One simply can’t survive alone without succour. You can try all you want, but you will need people eventually.

This, however, doesn’t mean you should depend solely on the support of others. To depend on people more than you depend on self makes you a slave. Yet, my friends, the fact remains as durable as concrete, that you can’t go far on the chaotic sea of life alone. 

For instance, the followers on my X (formerly Twitter) account had an exponential growth when I connected with more accounts like mine. Before, I didn’t give a shit about other accounts in my niche. This is just one of the many occasions where my life got better by associating myself with people who were into the same things that I do. 

To have more friends who would make the quality of your life better, you need to stop being so uptight. You need to kill your gauche self completely – Learn to be more polite to people. Listen to people. Help those you can help. Be grateful to those who render help unto you. Never be entitled to the help from others. And above all, respect yourself and never sabotage self to make others happy—this is necessary to avoid being exploited. 

And it’s also worth noting that it’s not everyone you are friendly to or that you meet or talk to that will end up becoming your close friend. What you need to do is quite simple, talk to a lot of people. Cast your net wide like a fisherman. Some of this people will reciprocate your efforts whilst some will not give a single fuck about you anymore. And there will also be some who reciprocate your efforts but are complete losers. Again, you must imitate a fisherman, and pick the best out of your harvest and discard those which aren’t useful to you.

Mind you, this doesn’t mean you should befriend just anyone. For your lifestyle becomes a spitting image of those you associate self with or worse they could end up betraying you ruthlessly. And this is why you need to look out for qualities that give you a glimpse into how a person’s character truly is. These qualities will help you look past the misleading superficial, giving you a microscopic view of who they truly are.

Here are the major qualities you need to look out for:

• Fear of God:

If he doesn’t fear God or he doesn’t believe there is a being called GOD, chances are high he would stab you in the back without a second thought. When a man is afraid of God he wouldn’t want to do that which will make God disappointed in him. The role of religion in a person’s life is more important than the masses realize. Religion acts as a cage, holding back the raging beast in people. Religion simply brings order to chaos. Without religion or without the fear of God and the fear of being damned in hell lurking like a wild beast in the mind of people, society would have fallen apart completely a long time ago.  Even now, society is a mess because people no longer fear God. Normalize the fear of God and society will heal from the damage caused by degeneracy. 

• Ambition: 

As a man who wants to become a better version of himself, you don’t want to surround self with dudes who are content with mediocrity. Surrounding self with such individuals will impede your growth in life. Now, on the other hand, when you surround self with those who are always hungry for more in life, they make you hungry too, they fill you with zest. They motivate you to go for more and never be content with mere average.

• Confidence:

To accelerate your growth, you need to surround yourself with people who believe in themselves almost to the point of delusion. You don’t need people who have low self-esteem around you for their nebbish way of life will diffuse into your own life as well. Making you just like them. Surround yourself with cowards and they mold you into a coward. Surround self with courageous men and you become courageous. This is the mighty law of nature. Birds of a feather will always be found in tandem.

• Game: 

It goes without saying that game is the same as having strong social skills. And this is not only useful in excelling in the mating world. It’s also useful in excelling at life in general. Game open doors of opportunity for you. And this is why you need friends who know the game, men who are good at applying manipulation to human intercourse with finesse. The more you hang out with them, the more you improve your own social skills as well.

• A strong aversion to being a simp:

Money is not only the root of all evil. Women also have the impetus to be the root of all evil. To prevent this evil from befalling you, you have to stay far away from men who simp for women. Such a man would stab you in the back multiple times for a taste of cheap pussy. 

Truth be told, all the points listed above does not mean that there won’t be aberrant outliers who would possess all these heavenly qualities but will be more than willing to stab you in the back—you never know with humans; for their loyalty is quite fickle. Never forget that the mind of man is hungry for wickedness and betrayal. To protect yourself from being a victim of the wicked penchant of humans, you need to act with discretion. Never reveal too many details about your life. Or to put it crudely, try as much as possible to keep your life private. By doing this, you avoid giving them enough arsenal to completely ruin your life.

3) Memento mori

Three people that I know very well died in 2024. One was in his teens, another one was in his 30s, the third, in his early 60s. This opened my eyes to the fact that, indeed, our lives on Earth as humans are numbered. Much shorter than most fail to realize. 

And it fills me with sadness to see how we, who have the luck of being alive and healthy, spend our time worrying about the past as well as being anxious about the future —a future that’s not even certain. We focus on a lot of wrong things, things we can’t control. Instead of taking control over our own lives, focusing on the things within our sphere of control.

Life is filled with a lot of troubles. But this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t enjoy it. Live every moment like it’s gonna be your last because it might certainly be. 

4) Make shit loads of money.

Life is indeed short, but, this is no excuse to live a life wallowing in the murk of mediocrity. Poverty stinks. No perfume in the world could hide its stench except that of mint. Indeed, nobody respects a poor man. Such a man won’t even respect himself. He will be of no use to himself and to his family and by extension to society at large. He is powerless.

“Money doesn’t buy happiness” is a fucking lie. The saying is cope for those who are poor, for those in stark poverty. Without money sleeping in your bank account, you become depressed. Nobody respects you. You can’t live a life of meaning if you can’t even afford basic things for yourself. Ergo, you must get out of the prison of poverty. 

The easiest way to earn lots of money—and I don’t know why most guys are not into this—is to have an online business. When you have an online business you make money whilst asleep. And you can start for FREE. There are plenty of online businesses that you could try but the one I will talk about in this article is building an audience on social media. This is my area of expertise. In truth, I have made hundreds of dollars from this. And you can also start from any social media platform whether it’s Instagram that you prefer or X (formerly Twitter). I won’t go much into this because ‘tis deserving of an article on its own. But if you want to grow an audience in any social media environment, you need to learn to make meaningful and valuable comments under the posts of bigger accounts, that is, accounts with lots of followers and with lots of engagements (comments and likes). You can’t grow your followers if you are just posting your write ups or your videos into the void (without having a substantial amount of followers). You need to get out there and bring followers to your account. The sooner you start this, the better. I wish I had started mine when I was in my teens. It’s very easy to make money in this modern day. You just need to have the knowledge and take initiative.

Final words

We are in a new year, please don’t repeat the same mistakes you made last year. Make better choices in 2025. Every hour must be accounted for. Don’t waste it chasing things that won’t contribute anything meaningful to your life because before you realize it, we are in December 2025 and you will look back with regret again, having wasted 365 days on things that didn’t move your life forward.
