A father is the most disliked by his children

In general, fathers tend to be the most disliked by their children—especially by their sons.  Justifiably so, because most times, fathers are the ones who mete discipline out to the children.

Whilst mothers are the ones who are more loved because they show more affection and care. In some families the mother is the one who metes out discipline whilst the father is more affectionate and caring – In this case, the mother is disliked; whilst the father is loved.

Either way, the showing of love or affection to children must be equally balanced with discipline. In truth, without this balance children tend to become irresponsible individuals in society.

Too much affection makes the boys weak and effeminate, and girls degenerate. Too much discipline, TOO MUCH, morphs the boys and girls into damaged individuals who unleash the pent-up chaos from their childhood on the innocent society. As you can see, there must be a balance – at least that’s what most people think.

But If you ask me, it’s better for the parents to err on the side of too much discipline than to err on the side of too much affection. The western world is proof of what happens when children are raised with more affection than discipline.

In my own case, my mum and dad were both affectionate; at the same time they didn’t tolerate nonsense. They showed love to us. And If any of us fucked around, we found out from both of them—there was no pampering whatsoever; otherwise I would have grown up to be a weak, effeminate and useless “boy”.
